38-0519 Knucklehead Fat Bob Gas Tank Kit

Knucklehead Fat Bob gas tank kit is a two piece gas tank set with a fuel capacity of 3.5 gallons. Includes a chrome emblem set with black and red paint emblem mounts gas cap set shifter gate and shifter lever. Tank features hand shifter mounts and shut off rod provisions. Order shut off rod and seat kit separately. Tank may require fuel rod alignment before installation of shut off assembly. Check the tank for flaws or fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check shut off opening making sure the shut off valve can be easily installed. Shut off fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of shut off valve. All tanks or tank sets will require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Tank may require filling at das area before painting for the best dash panel fit. *Note: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversize inch for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs. *NOTE: Fat Bob tanks is a right and left two piece set. Tanks are supplied in a raw-oiled finish.
