35-0977 - L Series Carburetor Body

inchL inch Series 1-7/8 inch bore carburetor body is cast aluminum. Body casting is an exact replica of the inchL inch series Linkert MGL gas carburetor design produced by S&S in 1980-81. Body has 1-7/8 inch bore and will accept original or replacement parts. Accepts a 4 inch throttle shaft. Features a built-in choke mechanism and side mounted float bowl. Air cleaner mounting pattern is the same as on stock Tillotson Bendix Keihin butterfly type carburetors. Changeable intermediate air bleed screws into boss adjacent to intermediate jet on the top of the carburetor. Intermediate jet goes through ventruri from top of carburetor down into main discharge tube. #66 main jet and #33 intermediate jet are recommended. For use on an S&S manifold. Manifold is not included. Accepts Bendix pattern air cleaners.
