31-1760 - Solo Seat Mount Base Black

Solo seat mount base is the direct bolt on type so the solo seats will mount directly to the frame and features a back steel finish. The springs and studs are not included. The rear tab mounts to 1/4 inch-20 threaded insert on the rear fender. *NOTE: Electronics may have to be relocated on some models. *NOTE: For 2007-2009 models the power module under the seat must be relocated. *NOTE: Rear solo seat installation on 2000-2017 Softail models may be raised by using 5/16 inch i.d. spacers to inchlevel out inch the seat. Seat cannot be mounted as the nose bracket does not pivot. Solo seat mount can be used with rear mount pads Police or K model types. Order frame cover separately. *NOTE: Fits 1986-2003 + 2004-up XL models provisions for both front mounting. For mounting on 1986-2003 models you may cut off tabs. The 2004-up applications has several hole patterns but the customer may drill more 5/16 inch holes in the sheet metal base with a hand drill.
