49-1868 - RL 7/8 Spring Fork Assembly Black

VL 1 inch Spring Fork assembly features black front and rear legs with a 1 inch stem and parkerized springs installed. Fork includes parkerized rockers with halllmarks! The rockers are Big Twin offset type. We measure from the top of the rear leg (tube) to the front axle center line. Stem is 1 inch in diameter and can be used with 1936-1947 EL Big Twin neck cups and ball bearing races. Stem can also be set up with tapered bearings and neck cups. *NOTE: Features a 1 inch stem but can be adapted to original 1930-1936 VL frames with the use of collars for the races. VL forks accepts the axle and brake drum assembly for 1936-1948 Big Twin models. *NOTE: Must order top tree and axle separately. Legs are drilled 1/2 inch for rocker studs with offset rocker on right side. Accept spring front brake drum assembly. Fork assembly includes rocker kit axle kit and spring sockets. *NOTE: Stock VL models feature a 1-1/8 inch outer diameter stem. Use on VL models will require spacers or shims for races and bearings.
