38-0797 - Replica Bobbed 3.5 Gallon Gas Tank Set

Fat Bob gas tank set includes shut off rod and hand shfit gate provisions. Accepts two vented gas caps and a 2 or 3-light dash. Tank may require fuel rod alignment before installation of shut off assembly. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seam or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal in order to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check shut off opening making sure the shut off valve can be easily installed. The shut off opening should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of shut off valve. All tanks or tank sets will require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed to achieve correct height. *Note: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversize inch for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
