17-0006 - Replica 4-Speed Transmission

Replica 4-speed 1971-1978 FX transmission is fully assembled. The speedometer drive gear is supplied and has a 1:1 ratio. There are Torrington needle bearings used throughout. Includes FXE ratio gears. Replica 4-speed transmission with a 2.44 ratio features cast case internal parts chrome kicker cover and components clutch rod throwout bearing natural finish ratchet top with chrome dust cover arm mount studs hub nut seal and key. Transmission is fully assembled for Big Twin models. Cases have mount lugs to accept aluminum inner primary covers. The shift pattern will be reversed when installed in mid-shiift as it has the FL type ratchet top to be used with forward controls. Transmission includes a 23 tooth sprocket and a 12-1/2 inch mainshaft. No Manufacturer's Statement of Origin required Bill of Sale only. *NOTE: Can be used in 1979-1984 FX models but will require a new transmission mounting plate. Will work with electric start. The first gear set is installed with this transmission.
