10-8532 - Limited Travel Spacer Kit for Hydraulic Tappet

S&S limited travel spacer kit with .612 inner diameter is designed to maximize the efficiency of the stock hydraulic tappet.
Set of four machined heat treated and ground spacers. Spacer kit allows tappets to operate as designed resulting in low valve train maintenance and minimal noise. In addition they will also reduce travel of the hydraulic unit in high RPM situations eliminating potential damage to the engine due to a high RPM valve float. Use on 1980-03 XL and 1984-99 Big Twin models requires use of standard hydraulic tappet lifters. 2003-UP uses a direct bolt-on application. Will not fit the late stock replacement tappets (OEM #18523-66B) for 1984-99 Big Twins. These tappets have a smaller bore size and a larger spring diameter than the earlier versions. To obtain proper plunger postion adjustable pushrods must be used with the HL2T kit.
