Fat Bob gas tank has a fuel capacity of 3.5 gallons. Tank features provisions to accept two early vented gas caps reserve shut-off rod and two or three light dash. It also features shifter gate mount holes. Order shifter gate and mounting hardware separately. Tank may require fuel rod alignment before installation of shut-off assembly. Shut off fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of shut off valve. Carefully check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joins. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal in order to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Factory sample cover are brand new pre-production parts but have imperfections in the finished surface. Check threaded and bearing holes for excess plating before installation. There are no physical defects such as cracks or holes there will be cosmetic imperfections only.
