38-7226 - Factory Sample Bobbed 3.5 Gallon Gas Tank Set

Gas tank has a left side petcock opening and has a fuel capacity of 3.5 gallons. This flat side tank features a screw type bung. *NOTE: Must order ratcheting style gas caps separately. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation. Carefully check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Factory sample are brand new pre-production parts but have imperfections in the finished surface. Check threaded and bearing holes for excess plating before installation. There are no physical defects such as cracks or holes there willbe cosmetic imperfections only. Sample parts may show marks from installation test and fitment. *Note: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversize inch for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
