38-0787 - Bobbed 3.5 Gallon Gas Tank Set

Fat Bob gas tank set comes without reserve shut off rod and shift gate. Tank will only use the 1975-up type petcock with 22mm nut. Gas tank set accepts ONE non vented cap and one vented cap. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal in order to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting on left side accepts 22mm nut type petcock. All tanks or tank sets will require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed to achieve correct height. *Note: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversize inch for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
