32-1282 - 32E 12 Volt Alternator Conversion Unit

Generator to alternator 12 volt 32E/65A conversion kit includes a black body and chrome end cover alternator with a solid state regulator. Kit requires a 12 volt battery system which can be ordered separately. Regulator must be mounted by technician as desired. Alternator body has 1/4-24 threads to fit models equipped with 32E or 52K generators so original screws can be used. Includes mount holes for 1/4 inch-24 x 5/16 inch-24 mount screws in mounting flange. Shaft is splined as a 65A/12V generator armature. Order screws gear and oil deflector kit correct mount bolts as required gasket and washers separately. *NOTE: The alternator will replace 6 and 12 volt 2 and 3 brush generators on 1958-1969 FL Harley models. Must order correct gear and bolt kit for installation. Replaces 1936-1957 3 brush and 1958-1969 2 brush generators.
