38-0104 - Replica Sportster 2 Gallon Gas Tank

Replica gas tank is single cap style with a fuel capacity of 2 gallons and a right side petcock location. Recommended to use with Mounting Kit 38-0207.
High tunnel stock style tank features stock mounts and filler neck. It uses a 1955-74 petcock. Please test fitment before painting. Tank weld seams may require filler to meet your individual requirements. Do not grind or sand the seams as this may cause leaks. .We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal. This will help to stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petock opening making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of the petcock. *NOTE: UPS may consider this part as packaged oversize for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
