38-0095 - Replica Sportster 2.4 Gallon Gas Tank

Replica gas tank has a right side petcock location fuel capacity of 2.4 gallons and a center fill cap. High tunnel stock style tank features stock mounts and filler neck. Includes vent tube accepts an early petcock and early gas cap. Please test fitment before painting. Tank weld seams may require filler to meet your individual requirements. Do not grind or sand the seams as this may cause leaks. We suggest using Kreem gas tankcombo kit to clean condition and seal. This will help to stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. Front mount tab holes to rear mount tab holes measures 16-5/8 inch center to center. *NOTE: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversize inch for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
