38-7221 - Factory Sample Replica King 3.2 Gallon Gas Tank

Gas tank is a replica of the 1996-up stock versions and has a left and right side petcock locations and a fuel capacity of 3.2 gallons. Features a plain shape. Tank is carburetor type and features an updated design shape that rolls the bottom edge under to give flowing lines while still retaining the classic shape. Please test fitment before painting. Tank weld seams may require filler to meet your individual requirements. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints as this may cause leaks. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal. This will help to stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. Factory sample cover are brand new pre-production parts but have imperfections in the finished surface. Check threaded and bearing holes for excess plating before installation. There are no physical defects such as cracks or holes there will be cosmetic imperfections only. Sample parts may show marks from installation test and fitment.
