38-0115 - Bobbed 4.5 Gallon Gas Tank

Gas tank uses a 1975-up type petcock and has a fuel capacity of 4.5 gallons. For use with 4 speed models only. Tank mounts with stock hardware and features 1983-up filler necks. All tanks or tanks sets will require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed to achieve correct height. Tank does not accept older Fat Bob dash components. *NOTE: Must order mounting kit separately. Please test fitment before painting. Tank weld seams may require filler to meet your individual requirements. Do not grind or sand the seams as this may cause leaks. We suggest using Kreem gask tank combo kit to clean condition and seal. This will help to stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening making sure hte petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. *NOTE: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversize inch for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
