38-0021 - Chopper Style 2.5 Gallon Gas Tank

Chopper style gas tank has a 2.5 gallon capacity and features a forward and high gas cap opening for screw-in type gas caps. Please test fitment before painting. Tank weld seams may require filler to meet your individual requirements. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints as this may cause leaks. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal. This will help to stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Check petcock opening making sure the petcock can be easily installed. Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock. The front edge to the mounting holes measures 15 inch the front bottom edge to the upper mounting holes measures 3-1/4 inch and center to center from the front to rear mounting holes measures 18 inch. *NOTE: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversize inch for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
