38-7215 - Factory Sample Stock Replica Bobbed 5.1 Gallon Gas Tank

Stock replica gas tank has a left side fuel line fitting and has a fuel capacity of 5.1 gallons. Tank uses stock mounting hardware. This EFI type tank has provisions to fit an OE fuel gauge in left hand bung hole. The tank requires sanding and primer before painting. Fuel line fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of fuel line. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Factory sample are brand new pre-production parts but have imperfections in the finished surface. Check threaded and bearing holes for excess plating before installation. There are no physical defects such as cracks or holes there will be cosmetic imperfections only. Sample parts may show marks from installation test and fitment. *Note: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversize inch for for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
