38-7216 - Factory Sample Stock Replica Bobbed 5.1 Gallon Gas Tank

Stock replica gas tank has left side fuel line fitting and has a fuel capacity of 5.1 gallons. Tank is for EFI models and includes dash mount and screw bung. EFI type tank does not have provisions for installing an OE fuel gauge. Requires sanding and primer prior to painting. Fuel line fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of fuel line. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean condition and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. Dash panel mounts to cover plate which includes fuel pump assembly on these thanks. Factory sample are brand new pre-production parts but have imperfections in the finished surface. Check threaded and bearing holes for excess plating before installation. There are no physical defects such as cracks or holes there will be cosmetic imperfections only. Sample parts may show marks from installation test and fitment. *NOTE: UPS may consider this part as packaged inchoversize inch for shipment as compared to the actual weight which will result in higher shipping costs.
